Teaching students in higher education

  • First, give the students time to work on the content of this resource.
  • The students should then write a 300-word article summarising their opinion on environmental hot spots in the pork chain using an LCA perspective, and comparing and contrasting two very different pig production systems. The students can supplement this learning resource by reading the report 'Danish pork production - an environmental assessment' (Dalgaard et al., 2007).
  • Ask the students to present their articles orally in groups, with each student giving and receiving feedback.
  • Give teacher feedback on their articles.
