The Regulation Business Control Animal Diseases (RBD – Regeling Bedrijfscontrole Dierziekten) regulates what needs to be done in case of contagious disease incidence at a pig farm and when transport and trade are safe again. The RBD prescribes inspection in case of diseases that need to be reported. If a company satisfies all requirements approval for pig transport is recorded in a central administrative system.
