VION Food Group - Meat Inspection Law

The Meat Inspection Law (Vleeskeuringswet) has been active since 1919. The law is aimed at barring out meat and meat products that put public health at risk. The Ministry of Public Health, Welfare, and Sports is responsible for this law. The VWA (Food and Foodstuffs Authority) is responsible for controlling compliance to the Meat Inspection Law).
