VION Food Group - MINAS
In 1998, the government made it mandatory for farmers to administrate their input and output of minerals through MINAS (Mineral Reporting System). If differences between input and output exceed a certain level, farmers are fined. Objective of the legislation is to reduce nitrogen and phosphate emissions.
