Exchange relationship between Transporter and Slaugtherhouse/Processor

Purpose of exchange:

single transaction versus long-term relationship

Type of contract:

classic (closed) versus relational (open)

The slaughterhouse does not own trucks for transport (only for internal logistics). They have long-term relationships, but no contracts, with a number of transporters. Quality is an important concept in the relationship slaughterhouse - transporter.

The slaughterhouse has long-term (35 years) relationships with transporters in different regions.

The slaughterhouse buys via traders (who deal with transporters) or via own intermediaries.

Transporters should satisfy quality norms (GTP (Good Transport Practice) - based on IKB requirements).
